Planning for the Book Fair is underway! The Book Fair will be held May 2, through May 13. We have two new Volunteer Co-Chairs that we welcome to the team. They will be training with our veteran Volunteer Co-Chairs whose students will be graduating from New Prospect soon.
A new policy: Please note that we cannot give refunds or returns, AND we will not give change from personal checks. For example, if a parent sends a child with a check for $20 to pay for books on the wish list, but the check total is more than the books wanted by the student, he/she may select another item that comes close to the check total. Any difference (or change left over) will be considered a “Donation” at the register.
Please support our All for Books promotion, which allows us to give books to kids here at NP who can’t afford to buy books. We will have a Grade Level contest to see which group donates the most amount of money for these deserving kids. The winning grade level will earn a Pajama Day. Collection containers will be in the Media Center. Students may donate during their Preview and Buying times, or as permitted by their teacher. This contest is in lieu of our pencil game.
We encourage you to visit the Book Fair on our Family Buying Night, May 4th, from 5:30 - 7:30. The school is also holding a Spring Showcase and Art Show concurrently that night.
